Kawasaki Motorcycle Batteries

Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd., named after its founder Shōzō Kawasaki, was founded in 1896. Of course, they weren't producing motorcycles back then, but had later come from a shipyard. Kawasaki didn't start working with motorcycles until 1949 when they started development of their first motorcycle engine. Five years later, the first complete Kawasaki motorcycle was produced. In 1960, Kawasaki completed construction of a factory wholly dedicated to motorcycle manufacturing.

Kawasaki motorcycles are manufactured in plants in many countries, including Japan, the USA, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand. In 1974, Kawasaki was the first foreign vehicle manufacturer to open a plant in the USA, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Later, Kawasaki would open a second plant in Maryville, Missouri.
