Tech Tip: Easy Front Mount Installations
 | This battery is supplied with unique terminal hardware (2 spacers and 2 bolts for cable to terminal connection). This hardware is required for proper installation on certain applications. Other hardware may damage terminals and should not be used. The spacers are required for front mount cable installation only! I Had a Issue with My 2008 Buell XB12R Firebolt. It has Labored to Start Since I Purchased it on May 2023. The Previous Owner had a Trick by Bumping the Starter Switch for a Second before Actually Starting it. My Buell Lives on a Battery Tender when I am Not Riding it. The Voltage Gauge Reads 14.5 Volts while Riding it. It Reads 13.1/13.2 Volts when Setting Not on the Tender. Everything I Read on the Forums Says that My Buell Isn’t the Only Buell that Needs the Starter Bumped to Start. Every Time it was Slow to Start I Pulled the Seat and Tightened the Positive Post and Negative Post Just a Little Tighter. Recently I Stripped the Threads on the Screw to the Negative Post and Literally Broke the Positive Post. I Read All the Old Post and Found the Battery I Wanted to Try. It Had a 200 CCA Diehard, I Decided on the 220 CCA Big Crank Manufactured by the Same Company that Makes Deka and the Harley-Davidson Battery for Harley’s. The Power is Almost the Same on Paper from the Die-Hard Compared to the Big Crank and Deka but the Positive and Negative Terminals is a World Apart from the Die-Hard. My 2008 Buell XB12R Firebolt Actually Spins Over Fast Now With No Hesitation, Totally Amazing. If Your Needing a Battery Don’t Hesitate to Purchase the ETX14 Big Crank, it Fits Like a Glove.
