Shipping was fast. The battery works great!
The only battery that I could find 2 years ago for my GS was the lead acid Yuasa. Not sure if that was due to BS supply issues left over from COVID but there were no Deka's or gel cell Yuasa's at the time which were good in the past. The $75 lead acid Yuasa lasted two years and it was babied. Ridden regularly yet unhooked when not ridden, removed during the winter, stored in the basement and charged once a month making sure it was topped off with distilled water. Wouldn't take a charge at the beginning of the second season. Complete failure for what once was THE brand in motorcycle batteries. Hopefully this one from Battery Mart will last much longer and I think it will. It appears to be much like the AGM Everstarts found at Walmart but this was half the price of those. I've had really good luck with the AGM Everstarts in my ATVs.
I needed a replacement battery for my Yamaha Virago 250, and after several unsuccessful trips to local auto parts stores, I found this one at Battery Mart. The shipping was insanely fast! And it fit perfectly, started right up, and has started strong every time since install.
I own a Yamaha 250 vstar and it’s very difficult to find a battery that I don’t have to put together myself. Meaning pouring acid in the battery and making a science experiment out of the battery install.
