This box works perfectly for the purpose I intended to use it for. I changed the one 12 volt battery on my travel trailer to two 6 volt batteries. They fit in this box with a little extra room so I could add a disconnect switch. Secured the box from the inside down to the front frame of the trailer. With the solid cover installed I can add a pad lock to secure the batteries from vandals.
We have ordered the NOCO 4D Commercial Battery Box several times now to use for solar boat lifts. These boxes are the perfect fit for the battery for these lifts. This last time we ordered this box, same item number, we received a different type which was bigger and longer then we needed for the battery.
