Premium quality absorbed glass mat technology (AGM) is ideal for the Mazda Miata. The Marathon Miata AGM Battery was designed for more than performance; it was designed for the enthusiast. Completely spillproof and leakproof; frequent replacement and high maintenance are over! The AGM technology increases power while improving driver and environmental safety. The key to this technology is the highly porous microfiber separators, which completely absorb and trap the electrolyte. Molded top and side connection terminals provide versatility, increased strength and durability. The Marathon AGM Battery provides the most advanced power and value in the industry.
Our replacement Miata batteries are sealed, maintenance free AGM rechargeable batteries. Due to their construction, they do not require any ventilation, can be mounted in any orientation, and do not require maintenance.
The battery features two vent tubes to attach your original vent hoses. These are not required for installation, but are offered to give you a place to attached your original hoses. Some modification may be necessary.

Got the battery next day and installed it in 10 minutes. Works like a charm.
Identical to more expensive WestCo battery.
Like the AGM. Fit perfectly and cranked it perfectly.
The dimensions and polarity, as well as the venting of the Battery Mart replacement battery are EXACTLY the same as the original OEM Miata battery. Fitment is perfect. In fact the battery exceeds OEM specs in that it is an AGM battery and the ventilation ports are an improvement over the OEM battery. The battery is very competitively priced and an excellent value.
I've had this battery in my NA Miata since 2013 and it's been very reliable. I'm only now replacing it 6 years later because I left the lights on a few too many times and it no longer wants to charge back up with just driving the car. The AGM battery is a little more expensive than your typical lead acid battery, but worth it to avoid the risks of acid leaks or outgassing in the trunk.
