14 years ago I put one of this in an old classic car. It has worked perfectly for 14 years and shows no sign of weakening. Sometimes this old car takes quite a bit of cranking to get started in cold weather, but this little battery had no problem turning the orignal slow starter over for as long as I needed it to go. Also, I noticed it holds a charge for much longer than a standard wet lead acid battery. It's so good sometimes I have left it off my trickle charger for 3-4 months and it cranks just as powerfully as ever. It's so good I have it in all of my old cars and all of my race cars too.
This company really knows their product. Told him what my project was what my needs were. They matched me up with the Odyssey battery I needed. They followed up with my project to make sure my expectations were met.. Would recommend them.
I was looking for a lighter battery than stock for my 2006 Subaru WRX STi. As I garage my car I originally went with a PC680. But after just a couple of years, I realized the 680 did not give enough reserve capacity for a Daily Driver. So I went with a slightly bigger size, the PC925/AGM28.
Just need an aftermarket tie down kit and it’s a straight drop in (if you get the battery terminals)!
Happily this is my second PC925 in the car. First one was still working okay after 6 years but the battery tester said time to replace and I admit the fresh one definitely cranks faster.
