This is my 4th or 5th purchase of the Odyssey ODS-AGM15L Powersport Battery (PC545). They are a good value at the regular Battery Mart price, but they are a GREAT VALUE when Battery Mart adds in FREE SHIPPING. I ride an SPCN DayTek frame w/an '02 Twin Cam HD eng. & trans. DayTek's battery box is under the rear of the trans in front of the rear tire. DayTek recommends the ALL POSITION PC545 battery since it needs to fit HORIZONTALLY into the battery box. Along with battery "SIZE" & "POSITION", the CCA's to turn over the V-Twin beast are equally important. I feel Odyssey rates its batteries CCA's very conservatively. The power density of the battery rivals that of much larger bike batteries & they spin the big twins with ease, for longer cranking periods and do so for the life of the battery (which for me has been 3-5 years). Odyssey is one of the very few companies to warranty their batteries for TWO YEARS! Even if battery "SPACE" & "POSITION" are not an issue, you owe it to yourself to at least try an Odyssey bike battery for your ride.
I reviewed a number of options before selecting the Odyssey ODS-AGM15L Powersport Battery (PC545) for my Can Am Commander XT1000. Its been great from the start. I set it up an a battery tender when not in use that keeps it fully charged and ready to go. The has been no hesitation to start with this battery in various weather conditions. AND it powers my wince great.
This one was bought for a Harley, and it has no problem starting it up.
Terrific batteries.
I've only had the battery for a few weeks. Everything seems fine. Bike starts easily. This battery was quite a bit smaller than the one it replaced but seems to be fine.
I was skeptical about the size and CCA but it performs flawlessly
