This is the second of these batteries I’ve purchased. This one for a different bike than the first. It seems to be operating as well as expected. Only problem I have with this purchase was the country of manufacture. The first one was made in USA. This one was made in Indonesia. That info was not made apparent when I purchased it.
This is only the second battery I have installed on my 2009 Vulcan Nomad 2T 1700C9FA. This battery lasted 7.5 years before starting to lose its cranking power. The original was oem Furukawa and does not have the 4 terminal configuration. I used the extra terminals to install an Optima Siver Series battery harness with state of battery led indicator. You can't find a better battery for your application or your money. I highly recommend this battery.
This battery was purchased to replace another which failed after only 2 years. While the dimensions are perfect, the terminals for this particular Suzuki requires side facing terminals. Fortunately I have access to a lathe and some brass stock, and was able to fabricate side posts to fasten the cables. Once installed, the battery fired the bike right up - and seems to spin the engine a bit quicker than the previous battery.
