This battery box replaced to 12volt boxes the rev dealer stuffed two 6 volt batteries into.
GREAT PRODUCT AND NICE FIT
The battery box is heavy duty and well made. The dual 6v batteries fit side by side with a little clearance each way. The battery rack on the RV had the batteries sitting end to end so I had to fabricate a mount to hold the new battery box. I was able to make a lock using chain to secure the batteries.
A better solution from the manufacturer would be a dual 6v battery box that would orientate the batteries end to end, fit in the normal RV battery mount, and have a built in locking mechanism.
Short of that, this product works pretty good.
This is a terrific product. Heavy duty and works perfectly for my two six volt batteries.

This box is one of the few battery boxes that fit in my sailboat's storage locker where the batteries are located. The box is rigid enough to protect my new Lifeline gpl-6ct batteries and is just the right size for the two. I used four large screws to securely attach the box the floor of the boat. I am confident the batteries will not slide around while sailing. If I purchase more batteries, I will order another one of these boxes.
Batteries fit great into this box. Sturdy construction. Plenty of room for terminal hookups, breakers, fuses, and permanent charger terminal installation. With a few modifications and bracket fabrications, this fit great on my popup camper. It is tall though. I had to fabricate an extension for my tongue jack. There are few of these on the market. I highly recommend this one. If it's too big, you're better off fabricating your own box, which would be a lot of work. The only thing I might recommend is a version of this box that is made of metal to allow for a locking option to keep people honest. Great product!
