The NOCO Genius Boost GB40 is a portable, mini, pocket sized lithium-ion jump starter for 12-volt lead-acid batteries. BOOST+ (Plus) is designed for standard vehicle applications such as cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, lawn & garden, and more. It is powerful enough to start diesel engines that require more power. Nearly twice the power of the original GB30, there are very few applications BOOST+ won't start, even in extreme cold. NOCO's Genius Boost GB40 jump starters are powered by a High-Density NOCO Element lithium-ion battery that can hold a charge up to one year without usage, and handle over 1,000 cycles with proper charging.

NOCO designed the NOCO Genius GB40 to be a safe and effective lithium jump starter that anyone can use. It's built with a set of top-of-the-line processors, thermal sensors, and power management devices; all without sacrificing performance.
Charging the Genius Boost Jump Starter
Connect the Genius Boost Jump Starter using the included USB Charge Cable to the USB IN port and the USB car charger. Your Genius Boost Jump Starter can also be recharged from the optional USB plug. The USB IN port is rated at 2.1 Amps to ensure safe and efficient charging of the internal lithium battery. Due to FCC regulations, we recommend not to charge and discharge the unit at the same time.
Charging Times
The time to recharge a Genius Boost Jump Starter will differ based on the discharge level and the power source used. Actual results may vary due to battery conditions.
Using with a Cars, Powersports, and other vehicles
We recommend the NOCO Precision Boost Sport Battery Clamps with Integrated Eyelet Connectors (Item # GBC002) for use with cars and other vehicles. The detachcable eyelets will help with connecting the GB40 to the battery.

I have a parasitic electrical battery brain that so far no one has been able to trace to any particular source, so a good reliable jumpstarter is an essential for me. I ordered one from BatteryMart, and while shipping to Alaska significantly added to the total cost, BatteryMart was upfront on the prices, wouldn't place the order until I approved it, and then shipped right away. It was at my door within a week. BatteryMart was the only company who would even ship this type of lithium battery to Alaska, and I so appreciate that fact. It was even fully charged when it arrived; I also ordered the case for it (it is great as well!).

Battery was what I ordered and was a perfect fit for my generator.
I gave it four stars because I haven't had a chance to use it, yet. But, it looks like it's incredibly easy to connect to the battery and turn on. It has really good features on it as well; like the flashlight which helps you see when it is dark out, and the usb port which is handy for charging phone if necessary. I will submit another review once I have had the chance to actually use it.
I purchased one of these for each or our vehicles. A few weeks ago my battery died and a motorist pulled a NOCO GB40 and jump started my car. I saw the product as a valuable asset. Have already used one of them. Don't leave home without a booster unit.
The jump pack at work was broken and I had to get my fleet out of the yard. I grabbed this out of the truck of my car and on the first turn the truck started.
