What batteries can I charge with the Battery Tender 4-Bank?
A: Each bank works with 12V flooded, AGM, gel, and sealed maintenance-free lead-acid batteries from 14Ah to 80Ah, as well as 12V lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. It isn't meant for 6V batteries.
Can I charge different batteries on each bank at the same time?
A: Yes. Each bank monitors its own battery, so a nearly full motorcycle battery and a drained boat battery can share the charger. You can even mix lead-acid and lithium, and each one gets what it needs.
Are the cables long enough to reach all four vehicles?
A: Each bank has about 5 feet of cable, and the AC cord is about 6 feet. If your vehicles are parked farther away, we offer 6, 12, and 25 foot extension cables, plus 4-packs of the 12 and 25 foot lengths.
Can I leave it connected all winter?
A: Yes. Once a battery is fully charged, its bank switches to float mode and holds it at the right voltage. That's what makes it a good fit for long-term storage.
What's included, and how do I connect it?
A: You get the charger, four cable sets with alligator clips and ring terminals, and an instruction manual. Use the clips for quick hookups or attach the ring terminals for a permanent connection. Follow the manual for the connection order.
