Tech Tip: Easy Front Mount Installations
 | This battery is supplied with unique terminal hardware (2 spacers and 2 bolts for cable to terminal connection). This hardware is required for proper installation on certain applications. Other hardware may damage terminals and should not be used. The spacers are required for front mount cable installation only! In 2003 I bought a new Gilroy Indian Vintage. I love the bike but from almost day one the OEM battery was too weak to really crank the bike in cold weather (live in NH). Over the years I tried this and that battery. Then on the Indian forum someone mentioned the "big crank" as the best battery he had tried. I thought what the heck and bought one. I am not sure how long ago that was. But tit was 2 batteries ago-- at least 10 years. I just got my 3rd ordered. Yes there are the super power batteries out there now. But for their price I can buy two or more of these for their price and my bike always starts. It really is all I want in a battery.

This replaced the Odyssey battery in my experimental aircraft. It is slightly longer than the Odyssey battery (something I missed before ordering) requiring a modification to the battery tray. Battery is a significant amp hour improvement over the Odyssey.
