Different from other common manual chargers the TN162 has a Smart-charging feature (Delta-V charging control function) that automatically identifies each individual battery and automatically detects whenever they are full. The Smart Battery Charger has done away with "Honey do we have any batteries for the TV remote" and many of the other items we have that require batteries. Just take out the old battery charge it up and we are good to go.
