Mounting flanges are built into the housing, and the 5-foot DC charge cables with ring terminals give you enough reach to connect cleanly without a tangle of extension cords. The included AC power cord is 3 feet.

The RS1 is compatible with both wet cell (flooded) and AGM batteries. A multi-stage charging process brings your battery up to a full charge efficiently, then automatically shifts into float maintenance mode to keep it there without overcharging. The charger also includes low 2-volt detection, meaning it can recognize and safely begin charging a battery that has dropped to as low as 2 volts — a level that would cause many basic chargers to simply give up.
