Replacement Amazon Kindle Battery

The replacement battery I ordered for my old Kindle arrived in a timely manner and it was the correct battery. :-)

I purchased the wrong battery . I needed a battery for a Kindle FIRE which is different from the regular Kindle.

Installed easily - charges up well. After 12 hours installed I can't comment on apparent battery life - for now it works fine.

Yes, I'm still using the original Kindle. I've heard that these batteries like to stay charge. I think that's what finally killed the old battery. Will top off the charge every day with this new battery.
