Saved me from having to buy another Kindle.
My Kindle has a case attached with a light that is powered through the Kindle battery directly. The light recently had stopped working and I could only get a few hours out of my Kindle otherwise. When reflecting on how long my Kindle used to last, I decided to go for this replacement and I only expected maybe 1/2 of what the original battery provided, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the replacement battery made my Kindle like new again!
I was going to purchase a new device, but I decided to just replace the battery and that saves me a ton of money. Now it works like new again! before the battery was dying way too quick even when I wasn’t using it or reading it.
The battery is the main issue. It works great, fits perfectly all that blah blah. The replacement requires prying open the kindle and the plastic pry tool included in the box was lame and got pretty mangled pretty quickly. The tip edge got chewed up almost immediately and since the edge is the thing doing the prying it was useless and I moved over to my pocket knife. Other than that, it would be nice to have a piece of double stick padding to put inside to hold the battery in place, but that's no big deal. Like I said the battery itself was great.
In our high school library, rather than replace kindles we are replacing the batteries. You made it easy for us to find the right one; they are reasonably priced, and once ordered, they come quickly. We only ordered one the first time -- it proved reliable. When the next kindle needed a new battery we ordered a few more. So far, so good.
The service was great had to call once and Mike was a great help and got everything corrected.
