I finally got my old Porter Cable cordless drill back up and running again. I had the original batteries that came with it that would never hold a charge since they were so old. I can finally use my drill again without it dying on me.

This is the second time I have purchased, from Battery Mart, two replacement batteries for a Porter Cable hammer drill I have had for 20 years. I like the drill too much to just put the cost toward a new drill and more up-to-date batteries. These are the exact same batteries I bought from Battery Mart several years ago. Other replacement batteries before these did not last long. I will use Battery Mart for all my power cell needs.
The battery took a little longer than I expected, due to weather conditions. The battery was very weak and it took several tries to get it to charge. It works great in my old drill.
Replaced my original equipment batteries which I had rebuilt a few times by a battery and light company. Those took too long and were expensive. Last time they only lasted 8 months. Original equipment batteries are no longer available.
This replacement from Battery Mart fits perfectly, and the charge seems to be lasting longer than the originals. Time will tell if they last in the long term, because I have only had them for a few weeks, but they look very promising.
