What can you say about a battery - it either works or doesn't. This one does.
Father passed away leaving me a Dewalt hammer drill but alas, the battery was shot. No luck finding a replacement and enter battery mart to the rescue. Works great and the drill lives on. Fast delivery as well, very pleased.
This battery is for a Porter Cable Model #877 1/2 inch hammer drill. This model was not listed with your other porter cable models,however i took a chance and ordered it since all the specifications seemed to be correct.. It works fine but I can't testify to the quality or durability at this time...
I was glad to be able to use my combo drill/hammer drill again. After the original batteries died, I had about given up finding replacements.
This was a replacement battery for a Porter Cable cordless drill. I could have bought a whole new drill plus two batteries from a low end supplier for 1/3rd the price of this battery alone. However, I like the cordless drill I have and would rather replace batteries than throw it away! 'm glad Batterymart offers me the option to save my older tools rather than junking them.
Used for normal household repairs and some heavy duty DIY tasks.
Hope this battery is as long lasting as the drill!
