Customer Reviews
Only battery I recommend! My H2 was going through red or yellow Optima batteries every 2 years - a common H2 problem . Odyssey I replaced was over 7 yrs and still working. I chose to replace now because H2s are power hogs and I don’t want it to die on me in the heat of summer. Even though it might’ve lasted a few more years.
I have Odyssey’s in my other toys now too.
I gave 3 stars because it actually lasted 4.5 years in daily use but I sure expected more from a battery that cost $244 shipped in 2017. It replaced an Optima Red top that lasted around 7 years. The truck is a stock LQ9 6.0 (Silverado SS) with a new (not rebuilt) AC Delco 145 amp alternator, new GM positive battery cable (the Optima leaked and corroded the old one), and within 1 year of battery purchase got a new (not rebuilt) AC Delco starter. I feel like the battery should have lasted more than 4.5 years. I've seen regular batteries last 10 years in many applications, why can't a high-priced "Performance" battery even last half that time?
No issues at all with Battery Mart. Problem is with the Odyssey Performance battery. Battery Mart pricing was good and service was fine.
