Special Installation Note: Bad Boy Buggies & 72V/76V Models
The 76V 170Ah Godzilla Kit is the preferred choice for Bad Boy Buggy owners (Classic, Recoil, Instinct, and Ambush models). Because these vehicles often feature dual motors and 4WD systems, they require the high-amperage output that only the Godzilla can provide. Please review these specific installation steps:
- Tray Modification: Most Bad Boy Buggies use a plastic "battery tub" or internal dividers to hold 6V or 12V lead-acid batteries. To fit the single Godzilla unit, you will need to remove these plastic dividers or the central tub to create a flat mounting surface.
- Side-Port Advantage: Use the side-mounted terminal ports to keep your high-gauge cables away from the seat frame. This prevents "arcing" and allows for a much cleaner wire management setup in the tight BBB engine compartment.
- 4WD Amperage Support: If your buggy is equipped with a high-performance controller (like a Navitas 600A or 850A), ensure you use the 2-gauge copper cables included in this kit. The Godzilla’s 300A continuous discharge is specifically designed to prevent "shutdowns" during heavy off-road climbing.
