Product Description

The 72V Powerhouse: 76V 105Ah Lithium Rhino Conversion Kit

Ditch the heavy lead-acid packs and transform your 72V vehicle into a high-performance machine. The 76V 105Ah Lithium Rhino Kit is built with 24 Grade A EVE cells, delivering 8,064Wh of power. This is the ultimate upgrade for Bad Boy Buggies, GEM cars, and enthusiasts looking for "Next Level" speed and torque.

Why 76V? Most 72V lead-acid systems actually operate at a lower nominal voltage. The Rhino’s 76.8V nominal (87.6V max) ensures your motors run more efficiently, providing instant torque and preventing the "voltage sag" common in lead-acid batteries.

Designed for Extreme Use

Whether you’re navigating steep hunting trails or cruising neighborhood streets at 40mph, this kit is built to handle the heat. The 300A continuous BMS ensures your cart won't "trip" under heavy acceleration, while the Self-Heating function guarantees your battery stays protected and ready to charge even in sub-freezing winters.

Frequently Asked Questions & Troubleshooting

Switching to lithium is straightforward, but here are the most common questions our tech team receives during installation and first-time use for our 76V high-performance systems.

1. How do I bypass the OBC on my Club Car?

If you have an older Club Car (DS or Precedent) with an On-Board Computer (OBC), you must bypass it so the new lithium charger can communicate directly with the battery. This typically involves connecting a jumper wire from the back of the charge port to the negative terminal of the battery. Detailed bypass instructions are included in your Rhino manual.

2. My EZGO RXV won't move after installation. Why?

EZGO RXVs have a safety "interlock" wire (usually blue) at the charge port. If this wire is not getting a signal, the cart's motor controller will lock the brakes for safety. Ensure you use the RXV Adapter included in your kit to properly signal the controller that the charger is disconnected.

3. Does the LCD Screen stay on all the time?

The LCD Circle Gauge is designed to dim after a period of inactivity to save power. You can wake it up with a single tap. If you prefer the screen to turn off completely when the key is off, ensure the screen is wired to the switched side of your key switch rather than directly to the battery.

4. Can I use my old lead-acid charger?

No. Lead-acid chargers use a different charging profile and voltage range that will not work with a 76V system. You must use the Rhino 16A High-Voltage Smart Charger included in this kit. It is specifically tuned to the 87.6V peak charge required for this 76V LiFePO4 pack.

5. The Bluetooth App isn't connecting. What should I do?

First, ensure the battery is turned ON via the physical power button. Second, make sure your phone's Bluetooth and Location Services are enabled. Open the Rhino Battery App and look for the serial number matching your battery label. No "pairing" in your phone settings is required—connect directly through the app.

6. How many hours does a full charge take?

With the included 16A high-output charger, a fully depleted 105Ah battery will take approximately 6 to 7 hours to reach 100%. However, since lithium has no "memory," you can "opportunity charge" for 30 minutes at lunch to add significant range without harming the battery.
