Powerful, efficient, and compact
A clever mix of engineering and design pack a powerful battery charger into a tiny footprint. The GEN5X2 uses high-frequency switch-mode technology to efficiently convert A/C power into safe D/C power for battery charging. The onboard microcomputer precisely controls the charging to minimize power loss to crate an incredibly compact form factor.

A multi-functional design allows you to charge 12-volt lead acid and lithium-ion batteries of multiple chemistries (Flooded, gel, maintenance-free and AGM batteries) and types (Starter, deep-cycle, marine, and more).
Charge dead batteries. Down to zero volts
The all-new start-voltage sensors allows the Genius GEN charger to detect and charge dead batteries as low as 1-volt. For extremely dead batteries lower than 1-volt, manually turn on force mode to detect and charge batteries all the way down to zero volts.
Thermal compensation. Precise charging in any climate.
The new integrated thermal sensor automatically monitors and adjusts the charging cycle based on fluctuations of ambient temperature, limiting the chance of under-charging or over-charging, providing a more accurate and fully charged battery. Avoids under-charging in cold weather down to -4°F and avoids over-charging in hot weather up to 104°F.
Bring dead batteries back to life
The GEN5X2 automatically detects sulfation and acid stratification. If any is found, the charger will automatically repair and reverse the damage done to the battery, extending the usable life and increasing the performance.

Tech Tip: Using A Multi-Bank Charger
Each bank of this charger is 5 amps. Combined, this is an output of 10 amps (2 banks of 5 amps each). This is commonly used in two ways:
- Connect each bank to separate battery systems, charging both by 5 amps each.
- Connect both amps to the same battery system, charging it by 10 amps total.

Having purchased and used several NOCO products both personally and professionally I can honestly say the quality of these products are second to none. The chargers, boosters, and accessories along with the outstanding customer service of Battery Mart are a winning combination.
I used this on my 2 boat batteries. It took a while to charge the first time, but that was probably due to low battery charge. Once I hooked batteries up, it began charging. Turns green when charged. Works exactly as advertised. So much better than manually hooking a charger every time I return home from fishing. Now, I just plug it up and forget it until I go fishing again.
