WOULD BUY THIS AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY
I was concerned spending this much money with a new Webstore for the first time. However, their communication was great. They have what I assume is a great automated email system that updated me on every step of the process. They didn't hesitate to ship my purchased product out. It arrived safe and sound. However in the original packaging. That's the only thing I can critique. The product a GB500 has worked perfectly. I had some issues with a GB251+ model that I had ordered from Amazon. I'm still waiting on the return from that. This was a way better investment. Awesome product. Jump starts a 100% dead 12L two stroke like nothing at 24 volts.
I received my NOCO battery starter in a short time after placing my order and it arrived in good shape. I have already used it a couple of times and works like a charm. I'm impressed with the quality and ease of use. Customer service answered all my questions before purchasing and was very helpful about using and caring for this product. I look forward to many years of usage.
This jump starter is fantastic. It has many features and makes an inherently dangerous task VERY safe. It works well, even for jump starting large equipment. On a 24V system, if the batteries are too low on the machinery you're attempting to jump start, it requires several attempts to allow enough "juice" to flow into the machine's batteries. The unit does get warm internally (didn't notice external heat) but the hot icon was flashing, at which point you have to wait for it to cool down to resume jumping. It does take a while (at least an hour) for it to internally cool down, but this might be quicker in cool/cold weather or if you don't have the unit in the satchel which it ships with.
Although haven't tried on a 12V system yet (cars, pickups) I'm certain it will work excellent! Great product and HIGHLY recommend.
This 6250 amp booster is EXACTLY what we needed to get our Caterpillar lignite mine haul trucks 6469 CID engine started in cold North Dakota weather! Needlums to say, many times it is -40°F! Thank you NoCo!
