The A14PX or PX14A is a mercury-free replacement for the once popular Mercuric Oxide PX14, EPX14, or Nedo 1201 cell that was commonly used in cameras. Mercury cells are now banned because of toxicity and environmental concerns. The A14PX or PX14A cells produce 3.0 Volts, which is higher than the 2.7 Volt produced by the original mercury cell. Most devices accommodate the small increase in voltage and function perfectly.
I am completely satisfied with my purchase of the A14PX Alkaline Battery from Battery Mart. I needed the batteries to recommission a circa 1984 Celestron illuminated reticle finderscope. The batteries were exactly as advertised and now I have a fully functional finderscope.
Searched many sites before finding here. Exactly what I needed. Fast delivery, good price, no problems.
Came super quickly right before Christmas. Brought our 50 year old Single-8 camera back to life! Cant beat that!
Good to find a replacement for my old mercury battery.
I did without this product for years until I saw specs claiming it replaced the item I couldn't find. It performs exactly as required in an expensive telescope.
This was a battery for a decibel meter that I use at school as a teacher. This is an odd battery, but thanks to your company I was able to order it and use it within a week. Thanks for your quick turn around time. I will let people know how professional this company is with it's customers.
