After several years of trying out about 7 different XCover Pro batteries from various sources, mainly eBay and Amazon, this is the only one I've found that has the built-in NFC antenna. The published capacity is lower than OEM (3200 mAh vs. 4400 mAh) which means it might power my phone for maybe an hour less than the original version but I like that I can use my phone for tap-to-pay with some services I use.
All of the aftermarket batteries I've bought so far either have A) the text "Near Field Communication" printed on them like the original, but when installed in the phone, there's no NFC support, B) "Near Fidld Communication", a misspelling or C) nothing at all printed on them indicating NFC. Most all of the batteries I've seen lately fall into this third group. The cheap sub-$20 ones don't last as long as the original and are probably not close to the "typical" capacity of 4050 mAh that's printed on them.
I've looked around and can't find any source for the OEM Samsung battery at any price. I have the first XCover Pro phone (SM-G715U1), not the 5, the 6 or the 7. The original battery that came with the phone is about 50% degraded and not very usable. I've since changed my phone's settings and set the maximum charge level at 85% instead of 100% in order to get the maximum life out of all the batteries I buy in the future, at the expense of having a longer runtime for my phone. I'm now plugging my phone in more often but I guess that's the cost of maintaining NFC support.
