Fits the tool, tho slightly larger. Made my hammerdrill once again useful, as i have found replacement batteries unavailable from any other source. Original charger works fine with new pack. Very satisfied.
I was afraid I was going to have to buy a new trim saw. My kids gave me this saw a long time ago and I don't want to get rid of it. This batter is a little larger than the original. The base (depth) plate on the saw doesn't collapse all the way. It hits the new battery. I lost about a half inch in depth. But that won't matter for how I use the saw. It will cut a stud, piece of trim, or other small material just fine. So far, the battery works well. It even holds a charge for a little longer. I recommend these batteries for someone who has a tool they like that they don't want to replace.
I bought 2 of them to replace the original 2 that came with my craftsman cordless drill. While a little big larger in size, they are lighter and hold a charge much better than the old ones. The even work with the original charger for the drill. :)
Searching the net for long hours before I found this perfect replacement for my Sears saws-all. It works fine and is 20 + years old. The battery works perfectly and was much less than discarding the old saw and buying a new one.
