I came very close to discarding my four-piece cordless phone system because one of the phones stopped ringing. Then I thought, perhaps it needs a new battery. I googled "battery replacement" for the type phone system I have and found that Battery Mart carried a replacement battery for the phone. I ordered it, received it, replaced it with the old battery and after charging for nine hours, the phone worked perfectly.
