  Little known fact:

What our Customers are saying
Not fully compatible with BeoCom 6000
August 10, 2017
by on August 10, 2017

This battery lasts longer on standby than the OEM B&O battery, currently made by FDK (formerly Sanyo), but is not fully compatible with the BeoCom 6000.
1. A minor problem is that the plastic wrap is wrapped incorrectly so that the wires come out the wrong direction, and the plastic wrap must be cut slightly so that the wires can be bent toward the plug. Also, the wires are thicker and longer than those of the OEM battery, so that they have to be squished to get the battery into the battery compartment.
2. This battery lasts longer than the OEM battery (10 days for me on standby, vs 80 hours standby per the OEM battery specs); but a problem for me is that the battery meter of the BeoCom 6000 shows only a 40% or 60% charge when this battery is fully charged, and shows 0% charge for the last 6 days of standby. This pattern of meter display occurred even when I followed the instructions that come with the OEM battery to enter the battery-replacement code 9#9#9*655 after inserting the battery and then press OK.
