Replacement Panasonic CGA-S007 Camera Battery

I have been using this replacement battery for several years. I can truly say it is as good as the OEM in terms of capacity and longevity. It is still going strong. This battery has definitely extended the life of my camera since Panasonic has discontinued making replacements.

I was very disappointed to learn that the proprietary battery packs for my Panasonic Lumix TZ-3 camera were no longer being manufactured or sold by Panasonic. This camera was relatively expensive, has a beautiful 28 - 280mm Leica lens, and is barely ten years old. I have no intention of ceasing to use it any time soon.

So, when I went looking for aftermarket battery packs, I was somewhat dismayed to find supplies are "drying up." Battery Mart was one of the few vendors that had them, and because they seem to be a big outfit, I figured their batteries would be better quality and fresher than some of the competition's. And, their price was reasonable and credible. Dirt cheap stuff is seldom worth much more than dirt in the end - especially with batteries, where freshness and quality are so important.

I am happy to report that these batteries are excellent quality, have long life, and work in the charger and camera perfectly. They are much better than the aftermarket battery I purchased with the camera *ever* was, and as good as the Panasonic OEM unit.

If you have a Lumix TZ-series camera that uses these batteries, and you want to keep it, you should be sure and buy some while they are still available. Highly recommended.
