Customer Reviews
Battery for my Motorola MT1000 charges well in the Motorola charger. It will hold charge many days turned off. It also works through a ten hour day. Thank you.
Purchased batteries for Motorola MT1000 portable radios. The MT1000's are a dark gray, almost off / dark green color, not black. Difficult to find any batteries that match unless they are from Motorola (and pricey).
The Battery Mart NiMh is not a color match to the MT1000's, it's a lot darker than the radios, but not all the way dark to where they are black. I'd say the battery mart batteries
I emailed and asked what color the battery was, and was told it was grey like my radio. When the battery arrived, it is black in color, does not match radio.
However, other than cosmetics, it seems fine. Takes a charge and seems like it will last forever. Downside is the self-discharge rate is pretty high. If you don;t charge the radio just before use, you'll have a dead battery real quick.
