The Sony VTC5A cell is for those that require Ultra-high discharge/drain cells in the 18650 battery size. It is a very safe and reliable battery due to the NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) chemistry type. This allows it to maintain stable temperatures under extremely high drain. It will show its true capabilities one it's pushed to as least 20 amps of continuous discharge and up to 20 amps of continuous discharge. With a capacity of 2500 mAh, you won't find a higher quality battery to meet a high drain device's demands.
