I haven't installed the battery in my Honda generator yet. There has been too much snow in CT to get to my shed and I'm presently writing this in the middle of a blizzard. Purchased to fit in place of a ytx 9bs since this battery is only about a quarter inch taller but it has way more power and capacity.
I use this battery as a test to replace a ytx 9bs as it's the same size but about a quarter inch taller with roughly double the cranking amps and 50% more capacity. It came charged out of the box, I put it in my four-wheeler and it definitely cranked over faster. Only had it on about a week now but I've started a few times and have had no issues. I'll give it a couple weeks here in the cold weather to test better but I'll probably be purchasing a few more to replace my other batteries
