Product Description
Connect Your New Battery Without Re-Wiring
Finding out your replacement battery has nut-and-bolt posts when your equipment uses slide-on spade connectors can stop your project in its tracks. The Power Sonic NB to F2 terminal adapter solves this frustrating mismatch in seconds. Instead of cutting wires or soldering new ends onto your harness, simply bolt these adapters directly onto your battery's 0.20-inch (5 mm) threaded posts.
These adapters instantly give you standard 0.250-inch F2 quick-connect tabs for a snug, reliable fit. They are perfect for updating backup batteries in fire alarms, security systems, or UPS units without altering your existing wiring.
Keep your setup clean and hassle-free. Order your 2-pack of NB to F2 terminal adapters today and finish your installation in minutes!
Frequently Asked Questions
Will these terminal adapters alter the voltage or performance of my battery?
A: No. These adapters are strictly mechanical connectors. They do not change the voltage, capacity, or charging characteristics of your battery, allowing full electrical power to flow straight to your equipment.
How do I attach these adapters to my battery?
A: Simply place the ring base of the adapter over your battery's 0.20-inch (5 mm) threaded post, then tighten your existing nut and bolt securely. Once attached, slide your wire harness connector directly onto the 0.250-inch F2 tab.
What is the difference between F1 and F2 spade terminals?
A: F1 terminals measure 0.187 inches (3/16 inch) wide, while F2 terminals are wider at 0.250 inches (1/4 inch). These Power Sonic adapters convert to the larger F2 width, which is common in higher-capacity backup battery equipment.
Does it matter which adapter goes on the positive or negative terminal?
A: No. Both adapters in this 2-pack are identical and unpolarized. You can safely use either adapter on either the positive or negative terminal of your battery.
Customer Reviews
Service was prompt affordable and exact!
order was spot on, just as described. I'd looked all over for the items and could not find them until I found the Battery Mart site .Fast service on the order, very pleased with the product and service
Initially when I went to purchase the adapters were advertised as already bent at approx 90 degree angle, which unfortunately resulted in us requesting an RMA for a refund. CS Agent, Ashley, was extremely understanding and helpful. Since then the photo has been updated to show the version they offer.
Even with the hiccup, we will continue to purchase from Battery Mart based on previous experiences.
Made an error when ordering and they made the correction and didn't charge extra shipping! Shipments where very fast! A pleasure doing business with and highly recommend.
As I stated in my original review the product didn't fit. Perhaps in the specifications for the item it could give an inside diameter of the bolt hole size, which as accurately as I can determine is 5mm for those of you who are trying to figure out whether or not it will fit your application. The second reviewer said it fit so there must be different size bolts on these SLA batteries. A bit more info on the size would be all that is needed for a purchase decision. In the end Battery Mart offered to give a refund so they get high marks on customer service. Low marks on product information. Lets see if they add the size info to the specifications tab for the item. Overall I upgrade from a two star to a three star fating.
The title pretty much says everything. I don't know what size battery they made this adapter for but it didn't fit for the 55Ah battery I bought them for. When I pointed this out to Battery Mart they suggested I drill out the hole. I great idea if the adapter was large enough to be drilled but it isn't. A drill bit large enough to accommodate the bolt on the battery would cut the adapter in half. I ended up using an eye hole fitting on the battery wire and bolted directly to the battery instead of clipping to an adapter.
Worked perfect!
