Ever order a UPS battery by information on the UPS case or from the owners manual and have it come through with terminals that don't fit your device? This item will allow you to hook up 3/16 inch wiring terminals to 1/4 inch battery terminals. The only thing missing is insulation on the female portion which is easily taken care of with some electrical tape or heat shrink tubing. I wish I had found these years ago.
The web site had good pictures of the battery terminal adapters so had a good idea that they were what I wanted. Good price (non-gouging like most other sites) and reasonable shopping cost (again, non-gouging like most other sites). Very nice turn-around on shipping (First-Class: Fri 12 Jan - Mon 15 Jan). My experience with Battery Mart shows that they are serious about running a good, honest business, so I will deal with them again.
