About the RBC3 Battery Pack:

The APC RBC3 Replacement Battery Cartridge is a complete, user-replaceable battery pack specifically engineered for compatible APC UPS models. Each RBC3 pack typically consists of two (2) 6V sealed lead-acid batteries connected in series to achieve a total nominal voltage of 12V. The capacity of these individual 6V batteries is commonly found as 10Ah or 12Ah, meaning the overall cartridge offers 12V, 10Ah or 12V, 12Ah capacity. These batteries are maintenance-free, leak-proof, and utilize Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology for optimal performance and a long service life (typically 3-5 years). The individual batteries commonly use F2 terminals. The entire RBC3 cartridge comes pre-assembled with proprietary APC connectors for easy, plug-and-play installation. A significant feature of compatible UPS models that use the RBC3 is their hot-swappable battery replacement capability, allowing you to install the new cartridge without powering down your connected equipment, thus maintaining uninterrupted operation.
