Replaceing the battery took 30 minutes.My old Kindle Voyage is now back to life.
This battery arrived much more quickly than I thought it would. As other commented have mentioned, it had to ship from China and that was expected to take 2-3 weeks, but in the end I feel like I received it in easily under 2 weeks. Getting it in was harder than I thought but that has to do with how much glue Amazon uses, and is not related to the quality of the battery. I need to use it until it dies so I can fully recharge and calibrate it but that will take some time because the battery clearly has a long life to it. Anyway, I'm glad even in 2025 I was able to get a fresh battery for my old, beloved Kindle. The Voyage was the best one they ever made and I don't ever intend to upgrade if I don't have to.
My Kindle Voyage battery was down to about 40% of it's original capacity and needed to be replaced. Luckily Battery Mart carried a replacement battery for it, so I ordered one. After I ordered it I got an email from support that the battery wasn't in stock at the local warehouse so it needed to come from overseas--I'd have to wait about 2 weeks to get it, but no additional charge for shipping. That was fine with me, as it wasn't an emergency. Got the battery within a couple of weeks as expected. Replacing it was easy enough and it seems to work great. WAY more capacity and lasts FOREVER now. Thumbs up for the battery and thumbs up for support.
Purchased this for my Kindle Voyager. Shipped and arrived within a week. Easy assembly once you can get the back of the Kindle off! Keeps a great charge. No complaints. Certainly, better than buying a new Kindle.
So far so good. My 8yr old kindle voyage only lasted 3 days. I thought of upgrade the battery. This replacement was cost effective and easy. I love the style and shape of the voyage. So being able to go give it new life with a battery replacement was just what I needed.
