I have a 2007 Silverado Classic that loves to eat batteries. The computers always activate while parked and consume as much as 4 Amps of power at a time. I-2 Amp chargers can't keep up with this drain, and a battery sulfates early and goes dead. Hence, the factory recommends battery replacement every two years. I managed to get 7 years out of my OEM battery with a 10 Amp solar charger. Recently, the solar charger went bad, from water on my now three year old AGM battery. So, I've replaced it with this NOCO 10 Amp sealed unit. I brought the AGM back to full capacity, and the NOCO Gen 1 10 Amp is keeping it where it should stay while parked. With only 12,000 miles, my truck is still new and stays parked a lot.
This NOCO Gen 1 is large and heavy, but I managed to find a good spot to mount it on the passenger side under the hood near the firewall. The wiring was long enough to make it look factory under my hood with the addition of webbed nylon wiring loom. Best of all, the NOCO Gen 1 is worry free.
This is a great piece of equipment! Just plug it in or leave it plugged in. Charges quickly and shuts itself off when the battery is fully charged. I highly recommend it.
This is the new 10 amp single bank charger and it was just what I was looking for. Bought it in June 2016 to replace a ProMite 5/5 10 amp which replaced a Guest 2611 2 bank 10 amp charge. I has been working great and charges my group 27 great. Will probably by another just to have before it becomes discontinued.

But the big flaw we noticed immediately was the size and mounting was totally different then what the picture and dimensions were listed.
