- 100% cobalt free. NCM and other lithium ion chemistries that contain rare earth elements such as Colton or Cobalt product oxygen and toxic fumes when ruptured. Dakota lithium does not contain rare earth elements, does not product oxygen, or is prone to fire.
- Meets UNI 38.3 standards. Cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US and International regulations for air, ground, train, and marine transport.
