Features:
- Up to 80% capacity for 2,000 cycles.
- Includes an active BMS (Battery Management System) that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and temperature protection.
- Lithium Iron Phosphate: the safest lithium battery chemistry. Generates significantly less heat the other lithium chemitries, such as Lithium Ion found in many cell phones.
- No thermal Runaway: Dakota lithium cells are extremely stable and do not produce the oxygen needed to aid thermal runaway. Unlike other lithium battery chemistries, these will not result in catastrophic meltdown.
- 100% cobalt free. NCM and other lithium ion chemistries that contain rare earth elements such as Colton or Cobalt product oxygen and toxic fumes when ruptured. Dakota lithium does not contain rare earth elements, does not product oxygen, or is prone to fire.
- Meets UNI 38.3 standards. Cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US and International regulations for air, ground, train, and marine transport.
