Product Description
This battery cut off switch provides a convenient way to quick disconnect and reconnect power from your battery. The switch provides a solid connection to your car, truck, and other batteries. Turn the knob and the power is disconnected. You can also remove the knob to prevent theft. This battery power disconnect switch also works great to eliminate battery drain if you're storing your vehicle for an extended period of time.
Installation: Remove your negative battery cable, install the disconnect on the negative battery post and then re-attach the vehicle's cable to the post on the disconnect. To break the connection from the vehicle to the battery just unscrew the knob until it loosens up. It would be a good idea to open a door-etc to confirm that the battery is unhooked from the vehicle (no lights come on-etc.) Wear safety glasses during the install.

The battery cutoff switch is doing just what it was advertised to do. Simple to install, but I did have to make a small modification to attach the battery cable to the cutoff switch. Simple, anyone could do it.
