- Made in the USA. Why it matters:
- Superior craftmanship; rigorously tested; high-quality parts.
- Better warranty
4 Year BCI Sized Engine Starting Applications. - Longer service life
With 3-10 years of service life, ODYSSEY batteries save consumers time, money, and aggravation. - Longer cycle life
70% longer cycle life compared to conventional deep cycle batteries - up to 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge - high stable voltage for longer periods of time. - Longer shelf life
Can be stored on open circuit (nothing connected to the terminals) without the need for recharging up to 2 years or 12.00V, whichever occurs first. - Faster recharge
The highest recharge efficiency of any sealed lead battery on the market - capable of 100% recharge in 4 - 6 hours. - 2 Batteries in 1
The characteristics of two separate batteries are combined in one box. It can deep cycle (be recharged) as well as provide enormous cranking power. - Superior cranking
The 5 second cranking power of Odyssey batteries is double to triple that of equally sized conventional batteries, even when the temperature is as low as -40°C (-40°F). - Mounting flexibility
Non-spillable design - can be mounted on any side in any position except inverted. - Vibration resistance
Design protects against high impact shock and mechanical vibration - a common cause of premature battery failure. - Extreme temperature tolerance
Operating temperatures from -40°C (-40°F) to 45°C (113°F), for models without a metal jacket and from -40°C (-40°F) to 80°C (176°F) for models with a metal jacket. - Totally maintenance free
No need to add water, ever! Drycell design with resealable venting system. - Improved safety
US Department of Transportation classified as a 'non-spillable' battery. No acid spills, no escaping gases.
Product Description
ODYSSEY Extreme Series 12V 68 Ah Battery Model 34R-PC1500T
(Group 34 with tin-plated brass SAE automotive posts - reversed terminals)
Odyssey batteries deliver the massive starting power, rapid recovery, and amazing deep cycle capability that today's vehicles demand.
Odyssey batteries have been designed to keep up with all of the electronics available in today's vehicles. Built with pure virgin lead plates, Odyssey batteries have more plates packed in versus lead alloy in most batteries. This leads to much more power - twice the overall power and three times the life of conventional batteries.

Customer Reviews
I started using Odyssey batteries over 7 years ago. I own a BMW motorcycle which apparently eats batteries. I had gone through OEM BMW batteries every 2-3 years since 1994. They had the only battery that fit it place with that high of a cranking amp. It's now going on 8 years since I purchased an Odyssey battery for that bike. Spins it over like a sewing machine, even after an entire North east winter, a few hrs on a charger and it starts up like new again. Since then I have put Odyssey batteries in my ATVs, Snowmobiles and even the lawn mower (I switch batteries around from season to season). The last one I purchased was for a 2008 BMW X3, another battery eater. Spins like crazy on cold starts and I expect 7-8 years of service from this one as well. Battery Mart sells them for a great price and fast shipping too
Exactly the right brand of battery (Odyssey) and the correct size. My MB Gwagen has a 6 cylinder turbodiesel and it needed more cranking amps. It has it now and I feel confident that it will be better than the dual battery system that was in it before.
