The A14PX or PX14A is a mercury-free replacement for the once popular Mercuric Oxide PX14, EPX14, or Nedo 1201 cell that was commonly used in cameras. Mercury cells are now banned because of toxicity and environmental concerns. The A14PX or PX14A cells produce 3.0 Volts, which is higher than the 2.7 Volt produced by the original mercury cell. Most devices accommodate the small increase in voltage and function perfectly.
Had searched for several years for replacement of the PX14A in my telescope viewfinder. Had to hold a small red flashlight to light the grid[...]I found BatteryMart.com. Problem solved!!!
The battery is for use in a 30 year old telescope. It is working just fine.
Great product.[...]works great in super 8 cameras. I use a Synchronex camera and it works just as good as the battery it replaces.
Great product! Made my super 8 camera fully functional again. I'm going to buy another one!
