Note: This item ships with a protective tab where the required AAA battery (battery included) sits. Prior to use, this tab must be removed, else the battery will not power the tester.

The battery status is displayed on an easy to read LCD Display.
This unit does not accurately test rechargeable batteries.
1x AAA battery required (Included).
I like this tester as a very quick test to see if a battery has ample life or if it needs to be replaced. I use many different size batteries and haven't had one that does not fit this tester.
I have several multi-meters but I wanted something that I could check a battery with quickly and without having to get out the test leads, choose a setting, and try to hold the leads on the terminals. Then you have to put everything back up until next time. With this you just pop a battery in, check the display, and you're done! Been wanting one of these for awhile now and I really like it.
Product does very good job, however it is unable to test the 2025 or 2032 button type lithium batteries used in remotes and scales.
Works great,good price.
Works just like it should.
best test I have had yet and the easiest to use and easy to reader digital display
I now have a way to make sure a battery is good or should be thrown away. Before the only way I had was to put in something and try them out. This was time consuming and did not tell me how good the battery was. Great produce that I have used a lot in the last several weeks testing old batteries I have lying around the house.
