Tech Tip: Easy Front Mount Installations
This battery is supplied with unique terminal hardware (2 spacers and 2 bolts for cable to terminal connection). This hardware is required for proper installation on certain applications. Other hardware may damage terminals and should not be used. The spacers are required for front mount cable installation only! The top mount position does not require the round spacers, use supplied bolts only. Torque bolts to 6 to 8 ft. lbs.

My Goldwing has 119,000 miles (all mine from new) and I have gone through 5 batteries in 25 years. The Big Crank ETX18L had very good reviews and I really liked the higher CCA. The fit was just right and the power was evident and I do not use wet cells on my motorcycles ( I also have a 2018 GW). Delivery was very quick despite the Hunan-19 issues. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the connection posts are slightly wider than the original Goldwing posts and I had to bend the cable connector lip to get them to attach. The GW cables have a small .125" lip that keeps the connection straight by resting alongside the post. The post being wider would not allow it to function without reshaping the connectors + and -.
Fitted into spyder ok, fixed dead batt syndrome on spyder (causes bike to not start and throws bad codes on screen). Found that when spyder batt fails, you can't jump start it. Need to replace batt, directly into bike, boat batt on jumper cables won't substitute a normal batt in the bike EITHER. Good crank batt so far.
