Do Dual Pro battery chargers have any fault code indications that may appear if there is a problem with the charger or battery?
Yes. Since 2007, Dual Pro chargers are capable of displaying fault codes:

• Red Blinking LED - No Battery Detected:
  Occurs when the charger cannot detect a battery, and the charger will not allow charge current to flow. When you see this, unplug the AC power and check the connection to the batteries for proper polarity (black wire to the negative [-] post). Also check for corrosion-free, secure connections to the battery.
• Two (2) Red Blinking LEDs - Forming State Timeout Shutdown:
  Occurs if the battery voltage has not risen above 1.75 volts per cell within the first three (3) hours of charging. There might be a battery problem and the charge cycle has been terminated. The charger may be reset by disconnecting the reconnecting the AC power.
• Three (3) Blinking LEDs - Overall Timer Shutdown:
  Occurs if the charger has not completed the charge cycle within the allowable factory set time period. This indicates a possible battery problem and the charge cycle will be ended. You can reset the charger by disconnecting and reconnecting the AC power.
• Four (4) Blinking LEDs - Internal Overtemp Shutdown:
  Occurs if the charger circuitry has detected the charger is too hot. This could indicated there is a charger problem, and the charging process will be stopped. You can reset the charger with unplugging the AC power and plugging it back in.
• Five (5) Blinking LEDs - Over-voltage Protection:
