This battery is in a motorcycle. How should it be stored during the winter?
When you are storing any motorcycle battery, be sure you keep it in a place that does not consistently fall below freezing. You can find the cold may cause your battery to crack. It's best to keep it somewhere warmer, and if you keep it on a battery maintainer, this will work towards keeping the battery from freezing.

Keeping your power sport battery fully charged while it is not in use will help protect it from sulphation. Automatic chargers like the ones by Battery Tender or NOCO are great for these applications. Since they are fully automatic, you can leave them connected to the battery all the time without damaging it.

How do I install this with side-mounted cables?

Big Crank batteries are supplied with unique terminal hardware (2 spacers and 2 bolts for cable to terminal connection). This hardware is required for proper installation on certain applications. The spacers are required for side mount cable installation only! The top mount position does not require the round spacers, use supplied bolts only. Torque bolts to 6 to 8 ft. lbs. How A Side Mount Looks when Installed: With the spacer, there is a flat, flush connection between the battery terminal and the cable. This connection will ensure you receive full cranking power.
