- Longer service life
With 3-10 years of service life, ODYSSEY batteries save consumers time, money, and aggravation. - Longer cycle life
70% longer cycle life compared to conventional deep cycle batteries - up to 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge - high stable voltage for longer periods of time. - Longer shelf life
Can be stored on open circuit (nothing connected to the terminals) without the need for recharging up to 2 years or 12.00V, whichever occurs first. - Faster recharge
The highest recharge efficiency of any sealed lead battery on the market - capable of 100% recharge in 4 - 6 hours. - 2 Batteries in 1
The characteristics of two separate batteries are combined in one box. It can deep cycle (be recharged) as well as provide enormous cranking power. - Superior cranking
The 5 second cranking power of Odyssey batteries is double to triple that of equally sized conventional batteries, even when the temperature is as low as -40°C (-40°F). - Mounting flexibility
Non-spillable design - can be mounted on any side in any position except inverted. - Vibration resistance
Design protects against high impact shock and mechanical vibration - a common cause of premature battery failure. - Extreme temperature tolerance
Operating temperatures from -40°C (-40°F) to 45°C (113°F), for models without a metal jacket and from -40°C (-40°F) to 80°C (176°F) for models with a metal jacket. - Totally maintenance free
No need to add water, ever! Drycell design with resealable venting system. - Improved safety
US Department of Transportation classified as a 'non-spillable' battery. No acid spills, no escaping gases.

Military Grade
Only Hawker Odyssey batteries are based on the same battery technology offered by Hawker to the military for aircraft and tank batteries. Odyssey batteries are of military grade and have endured rigorous tests that demonstrate their overall ruggedness and exceptional tolerance of mechanical abuse.
Note: Please check dimensions and terminal configuration to ensure this is the proper battery for your application.
Tech Tip: Special Installations
Mounting flexibility is one of the Odyssey battery's strongest features. It may be installed in just about any orientation (the only exception being inverted) without sacrificing any of its world-class performance attributes. Have no fear about acid spillage-- the battery recycles internal gas during operation/charging, and the valve-regulated design eliminates the need for an acid vent tube. All in all, this offers two awesome benefits:
- The battery can be installed in applications where it wouldn't normally fit. Just flip it on its side and fit it into your battery box ("L" terminal adapters may be useful for ease of installation in these cases... be sure to double check your application!)
- The lack of acid eliminates the fear of acid burns or damage to your expensive chrome and paint. You're installing an Odyssey battery because you love your vehicle. You shouldn't have to be concerned with things like leakage.

A: The Odyssey PC925L battery is used in a wide variety of applications, including:
- Commercial Vehicles
- Boats
- Motorcycles
- ATVs/UTVs
- Snowmobiles
- Personal Watercraft
What does the “L” mean in the PC925L model number?
A: The “L” refers to the terminal layout. It means the positive terminal is located on the left side of the battery, which is important for proper fit and cable connection in your vehicle.
What are the benefits of choosing an AGM battery like the ODS-AGM28?
A: AGM batteries offer several advantages over traditional lead-acid batteries. They’re maintenance-free, more resistant to vibration, and typically perform better in extreme temperatures. They also tend to last longer when properly cared for.
How should I store the PC925L battery when not in use?
A: Store the battery in a cool, dry place and make sure it’s fully charged before storage. Checking the charge periodically or using a battery maintainer can help prevent it from losing performance over time.

Customer Reviews
This battery lasted for 11 years of continuous use. Kept it properly charged and in a temperate storage space and always installed in the aircraft.
This was my second Odyssey battery for my Road King. The one i replaced lasted 14 years. Outstanding product!
Great experience
This is my second Odyssey battery for my 2008 Harley Davidson StreetGlide, the first one was not completely dead but was beginning to show its age after 12 years!!!
I do keep it on a battery tender when not riding. I have never had this long life from any other battery even with the tender connected!
Great batteries at a reasonable price. The batteries arrive sooner than I anticipated.
I have a 2009 Polaris RZR 800 and when the stock battery went out, I replaced it with a PC925L. That was in 2011. I just replaced the same battery (2025) only because I was getting nervous about how old it was. The old battery was still good and starting the RZR with no issues. Thats crazy for a 14 year old battery. I'm sold on Odyssey!
My 2000 Moto Guzzi motorcycle required a special size battery and with the + / - terminals reversed from normal. Battery Mart had the part number in stock and it shipped the same day. I will only use Battery Mart in the future. Prior to this, I ordered from Amazon. who shipped the wrong part and I had the correct part from Battery Mart before Amazon even approved the return of their wrong item.
