- Superior craftsmanship; rigorously tested; high-quality parts.
- Better warranty
4 Year BCI Sized Engine Starting Applications. - Longer service life
With 3-10 years of service life, ODYSSEY batteries save consumers time, money, and aggravation. - Longer cycle life
70% longer cycle life compared to conventional deep cycle batteries - up to 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge - high stable voltage for longer periods of time. - Longer shelf life
Can be stored on open circuit (nothing connected to the terminals) without the need for recharging up to 2 years or 12.00V, whichever occurs first. - Faster recharge
The highest recharge efficiency of any sealed lead battery on the market - capable of 100% recharge in 4 - 6 hours. - 2 Batteries in 1
The characteristics of two separate batteries are combined in one box. It can deep cycle (be recharged) as well as provide enormous cranking power. - Superior cranking
The 5 second cranking power of Odyssey batteries is double to triple that of equally sized conventional batteries, even when the temperature is as low as -40°C (-40°F). - Mounting flexibility
Non-spillable design - can be mounted on any side in any position except inverted. - Vibration resistance
Design protects against high impact shock and mechanical vibration - a common cause of premature battery failure. - Extreme temperature tolerance
Operating temperatures from -40°C (-40°F) to 45°C (113°F), for models without a metal jacket and from -40°C (-40°F) to 80°C (176°F) for models with a metal jacket. - Totally maintenance free
No need to add water, ever! Drycell design with resealable venting system. - Improved safety
The US Department of Transportation classifies it as a 'non-spillable' battery. No acid spills, no escaping gases.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the ODX-AGM31A and the 31-PC2150T?
A: They are the same battery. The manufacturer, Enersys, simply updated the part number. If you are looking for a replacement for your 31-PC2150T, the ODX-AGM31A is a direct replacement.
What does AGM stand for?
A: AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. It’s a type of sealed lead-acid battery where the electrolyte is held within fiberglass mats between the plates. This construction makes the AGM batteries spill-resistant, maintenance-free, and more durable under vibration than traditional flooded batteries.
What applications is the Odyssey ODX-AGM31A battery ideal for?
A: This is a high-performance AGM battery designed for heavy-duty commercial, marine, and demanding automotive applications. Its pure lead plates and vibration resistance make it a great choice for vehicles needing high starting power and deep cycle reliability.
What makes Odyssey Extreme batteries different than Odyssey Performance batteries?
A: Odyssey Extreme batteries, like the PC2150T, offer significantly higher Cold Cranking Amps (CCA), greater vibration resistance, and superior deep-cycle performance compared to Odyssey Performance batteries.
How long will my ODX-AGM31A battery last?
A: The Odyssey PC2150T typically lasts between 3 and 10 years, with a design life of 8 and 12 years. The actual lifespan depends on application and maintenance and can be shorter if the battery is consistently discharged below 50% or subjected to extreme heat. Proper charging practices will help maximize its life.

Customer Reviews
They got my battery shipped out quickly with no issues.
Order arrived early and in perfect condition. Really well packaged. Pricing was competitive.
The Odyssey battery line are real workhorses. I added this deep cycle HD to the 3 battery system i use in my Sprinter van.
I placed this super sized battery in my Tundra and it works great! It required some modifications to the existing battery holding brackets, but now I no longer have to fear having my battery not being able to start the vehicle if I had used the inverter without the engine running.
I purchased this battery for a large engine 1970 Ford I keep in storage. Why is easy. I have two other stored vehicles that are also seldom driven using PC1200MJT batteries. One of the PC1200MJT batteries is 15 years old and still working like new - holding a 100% charge rate. The only battery care I use is keeping desulfating chargers like BatteryMINDER and NOCO offer in use on them. The only Odyssey battery that has failed me was a smaller PC950MJT that I suspect was just a little too small for the 1957 600 series Ford tractor I had it in. The restored 12 volt converted Ford tractor sees a good amount of use all year long - so I didn't keep a charger on it. But, it is still likely the battery was just too small for the tractor. That PC950MJT still lasted 5 years.
Best battery I have ever installed for solar system on my trailor
Put this in a custom '79 ford pickup with Cummins 6BT. Engine spins faster than ever and cranks immediately as a result. Alternator went out within two days of install, cranked for a week without problem while waiting on new alternator. It is slightly bigger than other group 31 batteries I have ran so check your dimensions.
4 years of abuse in my Range Rover and it's still going strong, looking at another for my wife's LR.
