Aluminum-cased 24 Volt, 3 Amp Battery Charger with Clips
This fully automatic charger confirms operation with three colored LED lights. Red indicates AC power is on, yellow shows the battery is charging, and green lets you know that charger has entered float mode.
- Worldwide Universal AC Input 90-260 volts, 50/60 Hz
- Charge control: Starts with a modified constant current charge, then to a constant finishing voltage, finishing with it's float standby mode.
- Current limiting.
- Fully Automatic: This charger can be left on the battery indefinitely without overcharging.
- Have a specific connector, like for Bruno chairlifts? You can splice from your original charger to this charger without voiding your warranty.
I was hesitant to purchase this but the salesperson and reviews supported the risk. I didn't want to damage the Bruno chairlift electronics. Well, it has been about two weeks now and no problems. I guess it works.
Delivery was prompt as expected. Used for charging 24 volt batteries.
Used to replace a Bruno OEM 2402 charger for a stair lift that failed. I ordered a cheaper charger from another company that immediately failed. Found this one was easy to connect and has been operation for a few weeks without a problem. The stair lift does not get a lot of use so I cannot comment on long term reliability but it appears to be a quality unit.
This works great and was easy to adapt to our stairway chair-lift. Removing the clips to splice into the existing wiring was easy because polarity was easy to identify. The ONLY drawback is the sight noise/vibration from the constantly running cooling fan. When wall mounted, it produces an audible hum. Tried three different locations but couldn't find one that was truly quiet.
The vehicle I am using this product on is not used all the time, keeping the batteries (4) in top condition is imperative.
Worked great. 3 amp vs original 2amp not an issue. Only had to splice Bruno connector and it worked with no issues.
