This is the price you pay for start-everytime-under-all-circumstances reliability. I considered some of the "lightweight" options on the market but there were always power/relaibility complaints. Maybe fine for a racebike but not for a street bike where you may get stranded somewhere. Buy this battery if you don't want to think/worry about your battery.

Motorcycle Enthusiast Les from Williamsburg, VA On the recommendation of the members of a BMW forum, I bought the PC680 to replace the standard-sized battery on my '76 R90/6. The PC680 is approximately half the size of the OEM battery, which means I will never again have to drop the rear subframe to change the battery. Cranking power is excellent, seems to have plenty of reserve.
